Canterbury Hockey Open Grades

Canterbury Hockey Open Grade competitions provide club hockey opportunities for players who have moved beyond junior and youth hockey, while also allowing secondary school players to participate alongside their school commitments.

Open Grade Hockey covers a wide range of playing opportunities, from high performance senior club competitions through to more social and community based formats. Players represent their respective clubs, with teams entered and managed directly by clubs.

The Open Grade competition structure includes Canterbury Premier League, Division 1, Sunday League, Mid Week Open, and Grass Hockey. These competitions give players the opportunity to compete at an appropriate level, stay connected to their club, and continue enjoying hockey throughout adulthood.
