Simon joined the Canterbury Hockey Board in 2019 and has been the Deputy Chair since 2023. He brings extensive experience in commercial and operational management. A former representative player, he has spent his life in and around the hockey scene in Canterbury and nationally. Professionally, Simon is currently the Chief Customer and Supply Chain Officer at Lyttelton Port Company.

Pen Gough brings extensive governance experience and a lifelong commitment to hockey. A former Black Stick, she understands the role hockey plays in building confidence, teamwork, and community. She serves as a Director and Trustee within the Gough Family Office. This work strengthens her focus on values‑led, sustainable organisations. Pen is committed to strengthening community connection, and ensuring clubs and development pathways are welcoming, positive, and accessible.

Martin Perry joined CHA Board in 2021 with financial knowledge and love of community hockey. A long time player, club committee member and volunteer, I am passionate about hockey and the rewards and involvement that the sport provides. I am a retired Accountant, presently on the CHA Finance Committee, committed to ensuring the organisation is run financially responsibly for the benefit of all players.

Ari joined the Canterbury Hockey Board in September 2024. Ari has a long-standing connection with the Association as both a player and coach and remains actively involved in the local hockey community. Professionally, Ari is a commercial and property solicitor. He is committed to supporting strong governance and the continued development of hockey at both community and performance levels.
