Grass Hockey
This grade celebrates a more traditional format of hockey, giving players the opportunity to continue playing the game in a way that many grew up with. It is a small but valued part of the Canterbury Hockey community, with a strong social focus and a long-standing connection to the history of the sport.
Grass Hockey is most commonly played by adult and masters aged players who want to stay active, connected, and involved in regular winter hockey. Canterbury is one of the few associations that continues to offer a grass hockey grade, which is something we are proud of and hope to maintain into the future.
