Canterbury Hockey would like to thank you for indicating your interest in understanding more about the Canterbury Hockey Community Impact Fund, and potentially providing a generous donation to support the community.

Canterbury Hockey are excited to be continuing the amazing work and commitment that the Canterbury Hockey Supporters Club and Umpire Development Trust delivered over so many years for our community.

The evolution of this support and funds generated will see the launch and creation of the Community Impact Fund in 2024.

All current and generated funds will be guided and managed by a newly formed Charitable Trust, led by five passionate Trustees.

The Trust and Trustees will be motivated and dedicated to growing the fund through annual donations and fundraising events.

The funds that make up the Trust will be professionally managed and invested to ensure the greatest impact for our community is achieved.

The overall goal of the Community Impact Fund will be to provide financial assistance to our community of players, officials, volunteers, clubs, and schools to support a range of initiatives and innovative thinking to help grow our wonderful game.

The Trust will follow a set of key priorities through the application process to approve and allocate funding on an annual basis.

We are now in a position to advise, the first round of applications will be open later in 2024 with the inaugural funding to be allocated for the 2025 season.
