This Saturday 29th July will see the long-awaited return of the Canterbury Hockey Mid-Winter Ball.

The event has been brought back to life to raise money for the newly created Canterbury Hockey Community Impact Fund – an initiative that has been created to generate funds to give back to our community to fund initiatives to grow and support our wonderful game.

The creation of the Community Impact Fund has only been made possible by the historic efforts and energy from many generations who have physically and financially contributed to the Canterbury Hockey Supporters Club and the Canterbury Hockey Umpires Development Trust. 

The Canterbury Hockey Mid-Winter Ball will see these two funds combined to launch the Canterbury Hockey Community Impact Fund, with this Saturday’s event the first of many to see the continued growth of the Community Impact Fund

Our team has worked super hard to source and create an amazing pool of auction prizes and packages to raise funds to see the kick start of Community Impact Fund.

We are very excited to be launching the release of these 23 auction items today – featuring a great mix of Silent and Live Auctions that will all close this Saturday night.

The 13 Silent Auction items will all be completed and sold via the online platform outlined below.

The 10 Live Auction items will all go under the hammer during our Mid-Winter Ball event, being held at the Novotel Christchurch Airport – tickets are still available for this great event!
