Our Annual Awards Dinner a night of celebration and reflection
Our Annual Awards Dinner a night of celebration and reflection
November 28, 2021
Last Friday night (26 November) we held our Annual Awards Dinner, where over 120 people from the hockey community attended, and it was a night of celebrating individual and collective achievements (along with good food and wine, of course) and reflecting on these achievements in what has been another challenging COVID year. Despite these challenges and the Alert Level restrictions, we still accomplished a lot: we managed to complete our finals weekend, we ran our U13 and U15 extension programmes and hosted the inaugural Ōtautahi Cup!
Congratulations to all our award winners (and the nominees!) and thank you to all of their supporters and coaches too. We also wish to say a big thank you to James-Paul Mountstevens for being our very energetic and entertaining.
MC, thank you to the Canterbury Hockey staff who organised the Awards Dinner, and thank you to our photographer for the night, Kevin Clarke from CMG Action Sport Images.
