All umpire qualifications require a theory and practical component to achieving the qualification. Canterbury Hockey are pleased to provide numerous opportunities for junior umpire to attend the theory part of the course before attempting their practical sign off. Our courses are two hours long and are free to attend. Please follow the above link to register to attend one of our Junior Badge theory sessions.

All umpire qualifications require a theory and practical component to achieving the qualification. Canterbury Hockey are pleased to provide numerous opportunities for community umpires (18 year old +) to attend the theory part of the course before attempting their practical sign off. Our courses are two hours long and are free to attend. Please follow the above link to register to attend one of our Community Badge theory sessions.

Canterbury Hockey are pleased to provide numerous opportunities for our senior umpire to register to attend the Hockey New Zealand Level 1 Umpire course. Please note that the dates are tentative and may change based on facilitator availability.
