Canterbury Hockey in partnership with Hockey New Zealand will be hosting the National Coaching Programme for Coaching of Introductory Players. This is a nationally recognized programme that is part of the Hockey New Zealand Coach Development Programme.

Canterbury Hockey will be running practical coaching workshops for our club and school coaches throughout the year. 

2021 Coaching Forums 

Canterbury Hockey run a range of open coaching forums for our local club, school and representative coaches. These forums include a presentation from a quest speaker, a social environment with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and group interaction/discussion.
