2022 Intro to Developer Programme

Hockey NZ has began the implementation of their new ‘Community Coaching Plan’ which incorporates the delivery of the ‘National Developer Programme’. This programme is Hockey NZ’s primary mechanism for developing people, and enables individuals to understand how best to develop coaches. With the national programme providing extensive development for developers, Canterbury Hockey now have the opportunity to provide potential developers with exposure to the concept through the delivery of a ‘Introduction to Developer Programme’.

The purpose of this programme is to introduce local coach and umpire development leaders to the concept of developer and provide them with an upskilling on the developer skills that are most relevant to their current coach support roles.

This programme will be delivered over the course of 3 x 2-hour sessions on Friday April 29, Friday May 6, and Sunday June 12.
